傳索羅門檢討對台邦交 澳紐盼索國考量長期利益
索羅門群島正在評估是否維持與台灣的邦交，近日訪問索羅門的紐西蘭副總理兼外交部長皮特斯指出，不會就此對索羅門施壓，但希望索羅門以自身及太平洋長期利益做決定。
紐西蘭國家廣播電台（Radio New Zealand）今天報導，今天離開索羅門前往萬那杜訪問的皮特斯（Winston Peters）指出，對於索羅門是否維持與台灣邦交的決定，或者轉向中國，紐西蘭政府沒有向索羅門施壓。
皮特斯指出，「這取決於索羅門政府與人民，希望他們的決定能符合他們以及太平洋的長期利益，這是關鍵時刻」。
索羅門群島是台灣在南太地區最大的友邦，澳洲媒體3月分析，索羅門群島若倒向中國，可能引起骨牌效應。
美國國務院主管政治事務的國務次卿赫爾（David Hale）上個月利用恭賀索羅門總理蘇嘉瓦瑞（Manasseh Sogavare）當選之際，談到與紐、澳、台灣等民主政體建立夥伴關係對印太地區的重要性，公開挺台，也讓台索邦交成為澳洲總理莫里森（Scott Morrison）、皮特斯相繼訪問索羅門時的焦點。
莫里森在2日也訪問索羅門兩天。澳洲廣播公司（ABC）3日報導，莫里森沒有說明是否與蘇嘉瓦瑞談到與台灣或中國的外交問題，他說，澳洲政府不會給索羅門壓力，索羅門是暢銷排行優惠專區獨立國家，相關議題完全應由索羅門依國家利益做決定。
但英國衛報（The Guardian）5日報導，索羅門外交部長馬內列（Jeremiah Manele）與莫里森見面時提到相關議題。馬內列表示，索羅門將在100天內，決定是否轉向與中國建交。
索羅門時報（Solomon Times）同日報導，索羅門規劃部部長、也是前總理的何瑞朗（Rick Hou）指出，莫里森和皮特斯都沒有就相關議題對索羅門施壓，但是他們的確都對索羅門邦交轉向對區域的可能影響感到憂心。（中央社）

I bet he works out every day.（你說的沒錯！我敢肯定他每天都去健身。）◎ 台式英文二：She’s so fashion!（她好時尚。）要表示一個人很時尚，中文有時會說「好 fashion」，但 fashion 其實不能作為形容詞；要形容「時尚的、時髦的」，英文會用 fashionable 這個詞，像是：fashionable clothes（時髦的衣服）、a fashionable woman（一位時尚女士）。因此，如果要表示「她好時尚！」，正確的說法應該是：She’s so fashionable! (O)，而不會是 She’s so fashion! (X) 。例如：A: She’s so fashionable!（她好時尚！）B: Indeed. She has a great taste in shoes.（真的。她對鞋子有很好的品味。）◎ 台式英文三：That’s so handsome!（那太帥了。）要形容很「帥」，許多人會直接聯想到 handsome（帥氣、英俊）這個形容詞，不過這個詞其實只能用來形容「外表」，而不會用來形容行為喔！因此如果要表示某個行為很帥，不會出現 That’s so handsome! (X) 這樣的表達法，正確的說法會是：That’s so cool! (O)。例如：A: That’s so cool!（那太帥了！）B: Absolutely! I wonder how he did that magic trick.（完全同意！我好想知道他是如何變出那個魔術的。） ◎ 台式英文四：You are too over.（你太超過了。） Over 雖然也有「超過、超出」的意思，像是：It’s over the budget.（這超出預算了。）但卻不能用來表示一個人的行為太超過，因此不能用 You are too over. (X) 來表示「你太超過了。」；正確的表達法是：You went too far. (O) 或 You’ve gone too far. (O)。例如：Hold your tongue. You’ve gone too far.（管好你的嘴。你太超過了。） 類似的表達法還有像是：● You’ve crossed the line.（你越界了。）● You don’t know when to stop, do you?（你不知道適可而止，是不是？）◎ 台式英文五：Go to the next ppt.（去下一張投影片。）雖然 PowerPoint 可以用 ppt 來簡稱，但一張一張的投影片，英文不會說 ppt，而是會用 slide 這個詞。因此，要表示「去下一張投影片」的時候，英文不會說 Go to the next ppt. (X)，而是會說：Go to the next slide. (O)。例如：This leads to my next point. Let’s go to the next slide.（這引導出我的下一個論點。我們去下一張投影片吧！）◎ 台式英文六：Give you.（給你。）中英文是兩種不同語言，有時候不一定能逐字對照翻譯，這裡就是這樣的狀況。當某人跟你索取某件東西，而你要表達「給你」的時候，英文不會說 Give you. (X)，而會說 Here you are. (O)、Here it is. (O) 或 Here you go. (O)。例如：A: Can I have a look at your new phone?（我可以看一看你的新手機嗎？）B: Sure.
